Carmen Guevara

Carmen Guevara, is a resident of sunny Fort Myers, Florida. Originally from Lima, Peru in South America. was raised in a family of artists. From an early age developed a fascination for sketching and drawing, As a teen she studied fashion design back in Peru, also attended art institutes in the capital, diving into painting and sculpting.

Thirty years after being involved with painting, drawing and sculpting  she uses either Oil, or Acrylic  paint as her preferred choice of medium on canvas. She focuses on surrealism, realism, as well abstract in painting, while extending from hyper-realism to portrait in drawing or sculpting. Her inspiration roots from life experiences both good and bad. She has stated: "My goal is for you to connect with what I put into my work, at a personal level. Perhaps something you can relate to in your own life or heart. Inspiring others through my own work, will continue to keep me making art".
