I love watercolor!  Whether in the studio or out in nature, painting with watercolors brings me so much joy.   Many of my paintings are inspired by the beauty of southwest Florida, yet I find inspiration everywhere I go.  I enjoy painting a wide variety of subject matter from animals to florals to landscapes.   My work is typically done in consecutive layers, starting with a sketch and light wash, then building upon and occasionally changing the composition as I go.  Working predominately in watercolor, I do however like to sprinkle in a little mixed media from time to time - just for fun!
I began painting in 2011, taking classes and workshops at several SWFL area art associations.
