Edward Coster
Welcome to the world of artist Edward M. Coster. Edward started his art career on Long Island, New York, where he painted the beauty of coastal Long Island waters and taught art in the N.Y.C. public schools. After teaching for 5 years, he left this profession and began a career with the Fire Department Of New York. After working with the Fire Department for 11 years he retired after suffering a traumatic injury to his spine. Edward and his family have since relocated to Venice Florida and he has returned to his passion of painting and inspiring the minds of emerging artists, by teaching art once again!
Edward believes that great art has the ability to communicate and touch the viewer on an emotional or soulful level. We all know that great art can tell a thousand words and yet sometimes it can also just leave us speechless. Whether in a landscape, seascape, or still life painting Edward strives to communicate with the viewer and speak through his paintings while relating his world view with that of his patrons.
