Loretta Q. Pickens
My name is Loretta Q. Pickens. I am a member of The Fort Myers Beach Art Association.
My formal study of art began at The School of Fine and Industrial Arts in Newark, NJ. I continued study at The Art Students League in New York City for several years. Along the way I took classes at the Cape Cod School of Art and took courses with Camille Prezwodek of Petaluma, CA and Hollis Jeffcoat of Sanibel, FL. I was a member of The Spring Street Gallery on Block Island, Rhode Island for several years. I took years off to raise two children and start a full service floral design business in NYC. Having retired and moved to Fort Myers a few years ago I am concentrating on creating art.
