Mary Ann Habermeyer

I majored in fine art in college at Marygrove College in Detroit. After
15 years of doing graphic design, I took a few years off to raise my 2
children. My husband and I then partnered up to build custom homes
for 10 years.
After retiring from home-building, I became interested in
I-phoneography. In the middle of my graphic design career I spent a
year studying photography with Glen Fishback in Sacramento. He was
the commercial counterpart to the fine art photography of Ansel
Adams at the time. I-phoneography became popular maybe 25 years
ago. Many people are still not aware of it as an artform. Eight years
ago, I spent a week in Rockport, Maine studying the art with Karen
Divine, who has exhibited her photographs in many cities around the
world. She actually called Boulder CO her home at the time.
My work can also be seen at the COCO gallery in Estero, Florida
and at the annual art show in Pelican Sound Development in Estero.
