When designing my compositions, I only choose subjects that excite me; then I apply bold, tropical palettes. My background as an artist could be viewed as a subtle, life-long immersion, being raised by an art teacher. However, all those classes in my youth and university didn’t really propel my journey until inspiration and opportunity converged in 2016. That’s when I bought a rickety old easel while living in South America. Flash forward to settling in Florida end of 2020, I have organized a new home-studio where I find myself creating large, colorful canvases once again. My friends and followers say my work is “fresh,” and “full of vida/life!”
