From an early time growing up in Pittsburgh, Pa., drawing and painting had always been my passion. Attending art class at the Carnegie Museum and Carnegie Tech on Saturdays only strengthened my love for art I attended the University of Pittsburgh, Edinboro University and completed my bachelor and masters degree in Art Education at Florida International University. I was an art instructor for Collier County Public Schools for 27 years,
I enjoy painting in acrylics and strive for loose bold strokes in my paintings. I find inspiration from many different subjects, the beach,landscapes,still lifes and florals. I have have spent many summers in Asheville, N.C. and enjoyed painting the landscapes. I have displayed and sols my art in Asheville. My work has been selected for exhibits held at Arts Bonita, Naples Art Association and United Arts Council. I am now participating in the Coco Art Gallery in Naples.
