Patricia Abosch

From early childhood I always had a passion for drawing and painting. I attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y. where I graduated with both a Bachelor and Master degree in Art Education. I had the privilege to study with many well known working artists. I taught art at a New York City public high school for 25 years but had little time to create my own art. Retiring from teaching has given me the freedom and time to paint.
When we left New York and moved to Connecticut, I painted and exhibited at the Silvermine School of Art in New Canaan, and was a member of the Stamford Art League, I now belong to Arts Bonita where I have entered juried exhibits and won several awards.
I am an avid reader and when I am not painting I will usually be reading or listening to books, and if one of our 5 grandchildren are visiting I will have baked several batches of cookies.
