Mrs. Carolina Albrizzio-López is a self-taught watercolor artist. This was the first medium she picked up and immediately fell in love with its fluid, unpredictable and transparent qualities. She also works with collage, gouache, inks and acrylic.

Her paintings are vibrant full of tropical and Mediterranean colors. “In the tropics, the flowers, skies and water are brighter. They make me happy”, said the artist. Painting portraits, botanicals, and landscapes are her favorite themes.

Mrs, Albrizzio-López spent many years living in southern Europe with her family, and her paintings reflect her experiences lived abroad. She now lives in Southwest Florida and is a member of the Estero Art League and the Southwest Florida Watercolor Society.
