The COCO Artist Advantage: More Than a Place to Display Your Art

At COCO Art Gallery, we believe artists thrive when they have more than wall space. They need visibility, opportunities, professional support, and a community that understands the work involved in building a creative career.
That is what we strive to offer through the Art Council of Southwest Florida and our COCO galleries in Naples and Estero.
Every artist brings something unique to our galleries. Together, they have helped make COCO a destination where residents, visitors, collectors, and designers can discover exceptional original artwork created by artists from across Southwest Florida.
More Than Gallery Representation
COCO operates as a cooperative gallery, which means our artists are active participants in the community we are building. Their involvement helps us keep the galleries welcoming, professionally operated, and focused on supporting local art.
Membership is also an investment in a gallery that works throughout the year to promote its artists, attract collectors, create partnerships, and open doors to new opportunities.
Once accepted through the COCO jury process, artists are eligible to exhibit at both our Naples and Estero locations. This gives them the opportunity to reach different audiences while remaining part of one connected artist community.
The COCO Artist Advantage
COCO artists benefit from a growing range of opportunities, including:
Professional representation in beautifully curated gallery spaces
Exposure to collectors, visitors, tourists, interior designers, and local residents
Promotion through the COCO website, email campaigns, social media, advertising, public relations, and tourism outreach
Opportunities to be featured through artist profiles, interviews, reels, and our COCO Artist Luminary series
Consideration for additional sales opportunities through business and consignment partnerships
Invitations to participate in special exhibitions and collaborative events with other Southwest Florida arts organizations
Educational programs and professional-development opportunities created with working artists in mind
These benefits continue to evolve as we build new partnerships and find more ways to share the talent within our galleries.
New Opportunities for Learning and Growth
We are developing educational programs with leading art-material manufacturers and industry representatives. These programs will introduce artists to new paints, brushes, mixed-media products, tools, and techniques through demonstrations and workshops held at our galleries.
We also recognize that professional development extends beyond the studio. Future programs will include gallery safety, crime prevention, retail awareness, and artwork security. These sessions will help our artists feel more confident while creating a safe and welcoming experience for everyone who visits COCO.
Sharing More Artist Stories
Our digital presence is also growing. Across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, we are expanding the ways we introduce our artists and their work to the public.
Visitors will see more artist interviews, studio stories, artwork features, event highlights, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of gallery life. These stories allow collectors to learn more about the people and inspiration behind the artwork—and help us show what truly makes COCO special: our artists.
Growing Together
Every COCO membership helps strengthen the cooperative and supports the work we do throughout the year. That support allows us to invest in marketing, exhibitions, educational programming, media outreach, and partnerships that benefit the entire artist community.
We are building more than two galleries. We are creating a professional and welcoming community where creativity is celebrated, relationships are formed, and opportunities continue to grow.
To our current artists, thank you for sharing your talent, time, and energy with us. Your commitment is what makes COCO possible.
And to the artists who are considering joining us, we invite you to learn more. We are especially interested in welcoming new artists to our Naples gallery.
We look forward to continuing this journey together.
