Oct. 5 | 4:30–6:30 PM Join nationally recognized artist and educator Micah Goguen for an exciting exploration of monoprinting with a Gelli plate. Experiment with stencils, slow-drying acrylics, and a variety of papers as you discover how to stamp, layer, print, and build rich surfaces. Learn how paper weight, color, pattern, opaque and transparent colors can influence your creative decisions and be incorporated into your own artistic practice. Micah will demonstrate practical techniques while encouraging participants to experiment and ask questions specific to their own work. Discover how the collage and printed papers you create can become part of future paintings, mixed-media projects—and even be used in other workshops throughout the week. All skill levels are welcome. No experience is necessary.
